OUR GOODS

What kind of shirts do you use?

First, we don’t sell t-shirts that we don’t (or won’t) wear ourselves. Second, we’ve kissed a lot of frogs/tried a lot of shirts to find the perfect tee that will last for years to come.

For our Men’s/Unisex shirts, we prefer to use:

  • Next Level Premium Triblend Tees
    • Vintage feel with a durable wear and slightly more fitted than cotton
    • Slight shrinking after first wash, but generally holds size better than cotton
  • Next Level 100% Ring-Spun Cotton (athletic grey is generally 90% ring-spun cotton and 10% polyester)
    • Super soft cotton with durable wear and more loose than triblend
    • Moderate shrinking after first wash, but generally no more than one size (Unless you cook it on high in the dryer, *clears throat* Dad)

For our Women’s shirts, we prefer to use:

  • Bella + Canvas Premium Triblend Tees
    • Loosely fitted throughout the torso with a slight flair at bottom. Approximately 2” shorter in length than the Men’s/Unisex, but sizes are comparable.
    • Slight shrinking after first wash, but generally holds size better than cotton
  • Bella + Canvas 100% Ring-Spun Cotton (athletic grey is generally 90% ring-spun cotton and 10% polyester)
    • Loosely fitted throughout the torso with a slight flair at bottom. Approximately 2” shorter in length than the Men’s/Unisex, but sizes are comparable

What size t-shirt should I get?

Our shirts are generally true to fit but the best way to find your size is to compare to your favorite tee in your closet to our size charts.

How do you print your t-shirts?

Over the past few couple of years we’ve used commercial grade heat transfer vinyl for a soft hand feel, lasting durability, and overall familiarity. We’re gradually transitioning to screen printing because of its countless benefits including sustainability, ease, feel, and customer preference.

Do you print your own shirts?

We do. All of our shirts are printed in-house in small batches, checked for quality, sprinkled with good juju, and hand-packaged.

How do I care for my t-shirt?

Turn shirt inside out and machine wash cold. Tumble-dry low or air dry. Avoid bleach, dry-cleaning, and ironing on design.

How will I know when you release a new product (or restock a classic one)?

To stay in the know with all things Cheer For You, our newsletter subscribers get the first peek at new products, sales, and coupons. You can sign up for our newsletter on our homepage. You can also follow us on Instagram/Facebook to see more of our products, favorite quotes, and random thoughts. 

Where do you get your designs?

While all of our products are designed and produced by Cheer For You’s owner, Stacey Umscheid, it takes a village to come up with a lot of these zingers. For the sayings Stacey relies on friends and family, newspaper and magazine articles, vintage restroom advertisements, and more to inspire and test the sayings for each t-shirt. She creates most of the graphics in Adobe Illustrator (with the help of YouTube), but occassionally relies on the work of other talented artists when it makes sense.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

Standard shipping for orders in the US takes 5-10 business days; you’ll receive an email when your order heads out.

GREEN SHIPPING

In our continued effort to minimize waste and lessen our impact on the environment, please note that your order may arrive in a slightly used shipping box. All of our gifts and cheer packages are arranged and wrapped to enhance the sensory experience for the recipient.

REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES

What are your refund and exchange policies?

We believe that when we treat our customers fairly, you’re fair to us in return. Because of that, we handle our returns/refunds on a case-by-case basis with the ultimate objective of making you happy. Our philosophy is to deal with each return fairly and reasonably and provide solutions that make everyone happy.

Return/refund policy:

  • We apply refunds to the original purchase method, excluding shipping fees.
  • If we choose to provide a refund and are unable to locate the original purchase information, we will return it at current price on a Cheer For You Credit.

Do you take everything back?
We'll do our best to take care of you, but there are times we can’t accommodate a return.

Is there a time limit? What if the item is worn?
There is no time limit on returns; however, exchanges are limited to our current stock of inventory. If the item you originally purchased is no longer available, we’ll offer a comparable substitute or give you store credit to use at another time.

If your item is worn, we’ll do our best to take care of you and deal with your return as fairly as possible in assumption that you’ll do the same. From time to time we may not accept a return.
